We are delighted to announce that following our recent Ofsted inspection, we have been rated ‘GOOD’ by Ofsted. We are extremely happy that we have continued to maintain our rating.
We are on the Early years register and have been accepted by Ofsted as a provider who is aware of the need to provide high quality childcare provision, in a safe, structured environment.

Dame Allan’s School Easter Camp 2013 – by Ria Barber, Year 6
Today at sports camp we hung off monkey bars and balanced off beams, we also got out the mats to do cartwheels and all sorts of rolls. I played table tennis against a teacher! Furthermore, I really enjoyed drawing around people on a huge piece of card then we painted it to make them tennis or football players.
I also love the fact that it is in my school, as I know where everything is.
I always thought a good camp needs a good leader and this one does! They even join in with the activities like basketball and dodgeball. There is just the right amount of breaks and after all the sports at the end we watch a movie before we get picked up.

Joeys – a new Mini Camp for 3 & 4 year olds

How about this for the tiny wee monkeys?
Excellent ratios of 1:6, highly qualified specialist staff for the early years…and a specially tailored programme of activities…Joeys is the place to be!
Joeys is a new concept for SportNE, offering a specially tailored mini camp for children aged 3-4. With friendly and enthusiastic Early Years trained staff, the camp will be lots of fun, educational and will wear the little hoppers out.
Camp will run from 10am until 1pm, with early drop-off available from 8.30am.
(Hours available at Dame Allans follow 7.45am – 5.45pm as the Main Camp)
- From 8.30 – 10.00 the Joeys will be with the children from the main camp, allowing for the little ones to settle into the camp environment with any older siblings also at camp. The children will also get to meet and get to know all of the staff at camp and make some new friends of all ages – including the camp mascots Alan, Jack, Barry and Narna.
- From 10am the Joeys will break away from the main camp, to their own dedicated Joey-friendly area, where there will be the opportunity for much fun on a mini level!
The time at Joeys will be spent enjoying a variety of sports, games, arts and crafts, singing and dancing and building activities, and children will be encouraged to give new things a go in a safe, friendly and inclusive environment.
Bring along plenty to drink, and a few little snacks to eat as the little monsters are likely to work up an appetite, and we will pause for a snack-break during the morning.
